نسخة للطباعةPDF version

The survey entitled ‘’Labour Market Transition for Young Women and Men in the Occupied Palestinian Territory’’, found too many young people in the occupied Palestinian territory are not benefiting fully from the education system, with still more than one-half of Palestinian youth finishing their education below the secondary level, and youth unemployment rates are amongst the highest in the region, with more than half the unemployed youth being affected by long-term unemployment.
It also found that those with better education struggle to find work that suits their skills and education and the rate of labour force participation is extremely low, particularly among women.
